Clover Hollow Privacy Policy
- No account, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party analytics.
- Your farm progress is stored on your device (and in your own iCloud if cloud sync is turned on). We cannot see it.
- Payments are processed by Apple. We never see your name, Apple Account, or payment details.
- We do not run any servers and no data about you is sent to us or to any third party.
1. Who we are
Clover Hollow ("the app") is published by Kiro Games (Josh Kirouff) ("we", "us"). If you have questions about this policy, email joshkirouff@gmail.com.
2. Information the app stores on your device
To save your game, the app stores your progress on your device: your farm layout, inventory, coins and clovers, levels, settings, and the farm name you choose. It also stores a small record of which purchases it has already delivered, so a purchase is never granted twice. This data:
- stays in the app's private storage on your device and is not sent to us;
- may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), depending on your Apple settings;
- if the app offers iCloud sync and you have iCloud turned on, may be stored in your private iCloud account through Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage so it can move between your devices. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your iCloud data.
Deleting the app deletes this data from your device. It does not delete copies in your backups or iCloud, which you control in iOS Settings.
3. In-app purchases
The app is free to play and offers optional in-app purchases (clover packs and a one-time Starter Pack). All payments go through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment under its own privacy policy and does not share your name, Apple Account, or payment details with us.
Purchases are confirmed and restored directly with Apple on your device using Apple's StoreKit. We do not use a purchase server or any third-party purchase service. We can see only the sales reports Apple gives every developer, which do not identify you.
4. Reminders (notifications)
If you allow it, the app schedules local reminders on your device, for example when crops are ready. They are created on your iPhone, are not sent through any server, and contain no personal data. The app asks before turning them on, and you can switch them off in the game's Settings or in iOS Settings at any time.
5. What we do not do
- We do not show ads or include advertising SDKs.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). The app never shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track.
- We do not use third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or social SDKs.
- We do not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or health data.
- We do not sell or share personal information.
- The game has no chat and no user-to-user features.
6. Children
Clover Hollow is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Purchases go through Apple, so parents can use Ask to Buy and Screen Time to approve or restrict them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.
7. How long data is kept
Game data on your device is kept until you delete the app or its backups. We do not hold any other data about you.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. We do not hold personal data about you, but if you have a question or request, email joshkirouff@gmail.com. We will answer within the time the law requires. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Security
Your game data stays on your device and in your own iCloud account, protected by Apple’s security. The app sends nothing to us.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change is significant, for example a new kind of data, we will also mention it in the app's release notes.
